Our Torrance office is growing, and we need a DevOps Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Torrance office.
What you’ll do
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Torrance, CA is $139,000 – $177,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
