The employer is a systems integrator designing automated production lines and robotic work cells.
Our Milwaukee office is growing, and we need an Associate Electrical Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative electrical & computer engineering group and report to the electrical & computer engineering manager. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Milwaukee office.
What you’ll do
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
Nice to have
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Milwaukee, WI is $44 – $54 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
