The employer is looking for an Industrial Engineer in Kansas City, MO. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Kansas City office.
What you’ll do
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Build capacity and staffing models
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Clear communication with operations teams
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Kansas City, MO is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
