The employer is looking for an Associate Geotechnical Engineer in Santa Rosa, CA. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced civil engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Santa Rosa location.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate drilling subcontractors and field staff
- Write geotechnical reports with design recommendations
- Analyze foundations, retaining walls and slope stability
- Plan and oversee subsurface explorations and laboratory testing
- Observe earthwork and foundation construction in the field
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience writing geotechnical reports
- Strong soil mechanics fundamentals
- Willingness to work in the field
Nice to have
- PE license
- Master’s degree in geotechnical engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Santa Rosa, CA is $81,000 – $104,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
