As a Senior QA Automation Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Strong attention to detail
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
- ISTQB certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $154,000 – $196,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
