As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in North Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our North Las Vegas location.
What you’ll do
- Lead incident response and write blameless post-incident reviews
- Improve the observability stack: metrics, logs and traces
- Build tooling that removes toil from operations work
- Run capacity planning and load testing for critical services
- Define service level objectives with product teams and track error budgets
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience operating large-scale production systems
- Deep Linux and networking fundamentals
- Experience with modern observability tooling
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated or high-availability environment
- Experience with chaos engineering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in North Las Vegas, NV is $152,000 – $193,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
