Our Bridgeport office is growing, and we need an Associate Industrial Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative industrial & manufacturing engineering group and report to the industrial & manufacturing engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Bridgeport location.
What you’ll do
- Design facility layouts and material flow
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Build capacity and staffing models
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Clear communication with operations teams
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Bridgeport, CT is $66,000 – $84,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
