We are hiring a Controls Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Modesto. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Modesto office.
What you’ll do
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Commissioning experience
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
- Willingness to travel to job sites
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Modesto, CA is $105,000 – $133,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
