The employer is looking for a Process Engineer in Chandler, AZ. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Chandler location.
What you’ll do
- Monitor and optimize unit operations for yield, quality and cost
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
- Knowledge of process safety practices
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chandler, AZ is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
