We are hiring a Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Phoenix. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Phoenix office.
What you’ll do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with load calculation software
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience producing construction documents
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Phoenix, AZ is $100,000 – $128,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
