As an Associate Software Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Miami, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Miami office.
What you’ll do
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami, FL is $82,000 – $105,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
