The employer is a SaaS company building scheduling and dispatch software for field service businesses.
Our Raleigh office is growing, and we need a Network Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Raleigh office.
What you’ll do
- Configure routing, switching, firewalls and SD-WAN
- Automate network changes with Python and Ansible
- Design, build and support enterprise LAN, WAN and data center networks
- Document network designs and standards
- Monitor performance and troubleshoot outages
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Clear documentation habits
- Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF)
- Firewall administration experience
Nice to have
- CCNP or CCIE certification
- Experience with cloud networking
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Raleigh, NC is $103,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
