As a QA Automation Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Tempe, AZ. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Tempe office.
What you’ll do
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Design and maintain automated UI and API test suites
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tempe, AZ is $95,000 – $121,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
