The employer is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in New York, NY. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Build feature pipelines and model monitoring
- Train, evaluate and deploy machine learning models into production services
- Work with data scientists to move prototypes into reliable systems
- Optimize model latency and serving cost
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid understanding of statistics and model evaluation
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Experience deploying ML models to production
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Graduate degree in a quantitative field
- Experience with large language models or retrieval systems
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $215,000 – $273,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
