Our Louisville office is growing, and we need a Software Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Louisville location.
What you’ll do
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Nice to have
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Louisville, KY is $105,000 – $134,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
