The employer is looking for an HVAC Design Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Los Angeles location.
What you’ll do
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Support construction administration and commissioning
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong coordination skills
- Experience producing construction documents
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
Nice to have
- Experience with energy modeling in eQUEST or IES
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $100,000 – $127,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
