The employer is looking for a Senior Field Service Engineer in Sacramento, CA. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced mechanical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Sacramento location.
What you’ll do
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $107,000 – $137,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
