The employer is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer in Charlotte, NC. In this role you will lead technical work alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Charlotte location.
What you’ll do
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $130,000 – $165,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
