We are hiring a Field Service Engineer to join our mechanical engineering team in Santa Clarita. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Santa Clarita location.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and software issues
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Santa Clarita, CA is $86,000 – $110,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
