Our Memphis office is growing, and we need an HVAC Design Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Memphis location.
What you’ll do
- Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, healthcare and education buildings
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Model systems and produce construction documents in Revit
- Select equipment and write specifications
- Support construction administration and commissioning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and mechanical codes
- Experience producing construction documents
- Strong coordination skills
Nice to have
- LEED AP credential
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Memphis, TN is $82,000 – $104,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
