We are hiring a Senior Controls Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in Fort Wayne. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Fort Wayne location.
What you’ll do
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Commissioning experience
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Fort Wayne, IN is $106,000 – $135,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
