As a Senior Field Service Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in Las Cruces, NM. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Las Cruces office.
What you’ll do
- Install, commission and service equipment at customer sites
- Train customer operators and maintenance staff
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Document service visits and feed issues back to engineering
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Willingness to travel regionally
- Strong customer service skills
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience servicing medical or semiconductor equipment
- Experience with industrial automation equipment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Las Cruces, NM is $81,000 – $103,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
