We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our electrical & computer engineering team in San Jose. You will lead technical work on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our San Jose office.
What you’ll do
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Jose, CA is $158,000 – $201,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
