We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our software engineering team in St. Petersburg. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our St. Petersburg location.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to technical design documents and architecture discussions
- Partner with product managers and designers to scope and estimate new work
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in St. Petersburg, FL is $111,000 – $141,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
