We are hiring an Associate Front-End Engineer to join our software engineering team in El Paso. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our El Paso location.
What you’ll do
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Measure and improve page performance and Core Web Vitals
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Production experience with React or a comparable framework
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js or server-side rendering
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in El Paso, TX is $88,000 – $111,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
