As an Associate Project Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the construction engineering team works. This position is based in Aurora, IL. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Aurora office.
What you’ll do
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
- Support closeout documentation
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Comfort working on active job sites
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Procore or similar construction software
Nice to have
- Experience on projects over $20M
- OSHA 30 certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Aurora, IL is $59,000 – $75,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
