As an Associate Civil Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the civil engineering team works. This position is based in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Charlotte location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare stormwater reports and calculations
- Prepare site, grading, utility and drainage designs for land development projects
- Produce construction drawings and specifications in Civil 3D
- Coordinate with municipal reviewers and secure permits
- Prepare cost estimates and quantity takeoffs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Working knowledge of local and state design standards
- Ability to manage several projects at once
Nice to have
- Experience with HEC-RAS or SWMM
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Charlotte, NC is $63,000 – $80,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
