Our Chicago office is growing, and we need an Associate Project Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative construction engineering group and report to the construction engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Chicago office.
What you’ll do
- Track budgets and costs alongside the project manager
- Manage RFIs, submittals and change orders on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors and track the project schedule
- Review drawings and specifications for conflicts
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Comfort working on active job sites
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read construction drawings
Nice to have
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience on projects over $20M
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Chicago, IL is $57,000 – $73,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
