The employer is looking for a Power Systems Engineer in San Bernardino, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Bernardino location.
What you’ll do
- Support interconnection studies for renewable generation
- Prepare drawings and specifications for utility projects
- Develop relay settings and coordination studies
- Design substation, distribution and protection systems
- Perform load flow, short circuit and arc flash studies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of protective relaying
- Experience with ETAP, PSS/E or SKM
Nice to have
- Experience with battery storage or solar interconnection
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Bernardino, CA is $121,000 – $154,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
