Our Tampa office is growing, and we need a Structural Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative civil engineering group and report to the civil engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Tampa location.
What you’ll do
- Prepare calculations and structural drawings coordinated in Revit
- Analyze and design steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
- Review shop drawings and answer contractor RFIs
- Perform condition assessments of existing structures
- Build analysis models in RISA, ETABS or SAP2000
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong hand-calculation skills
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI codes
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in structural engineering
- Seismic design experience
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tampa, FL is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
