The employer is looking for an Associate Process Engineer in Surprise, AZ. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced chemical engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Surprise location.
What you’ll do
- Develop P&IDs, mass balances and process documentation
- Lead process hazard analyses and management-of-change reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues with operations and maintenance
- Run designed experiments to improve process capability
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- Strong chemical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Data analysis skills
Nice to have
- Six Sigma certification
- Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Surprise, AZ is $62,000 – $79,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
