We are hiring an Associate Water Resources Engineer to join our civil engineering team in Knoxville. You will learn quickly and contribute on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Knoxville location.
What you’ll do
- Model hydrology and hydraulics for flood control and stormwater projects
- Prepare master plans and engineering reports for municipal clients
- Design water distribution, sewer and pump station improvements
- Support grant applications and regulatory submittals
- Analyze data in GIS to support capital planning
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Strong report writing
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydrology
- Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS or SWMM
Nice to have
- Experience with InfoWater or WaterGEMS
- PE license
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Knoxville, TN is $65,000 – $82,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
