As a Mechanical Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the mechanical engineering team works. This position is based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Run tolerance stack-ups and apply GD&T to drawings
- Manage engineering change orders and documentation
- Perform FEA and hand calculations to validate designs
- Build and test prototypes, then iterate on the results
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Understanding of common manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo or NX
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Nice to have
- Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus
- Experience with injection molding or sheet-metal design
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $113,000 – $144,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
