As a Senior Quality Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the industrial & manufacturing engineering team works. This position is based in Anchorage, AK. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Anchorage office.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Support customer and third-party audits
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong documentation habits
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
- Root-cause analysis skills (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone)
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Anchorage, AK is $103,000 – $132,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
