The employer is a regional electric utility serving residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Our San Antonio office is growing, and we need an Associate Energy Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative energy engineering group and report to the energy engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our San Antonio location.
What you’ll do
- Design solar PV and battery storage systems
- Conduct energy audits of commercial and industrial facilities
- Model energy-saving measures and calculate payback
- Write reports and present results to clients
- Run measurement and verification of completed projects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Energy Engineering
- Experience with energy modeling tools
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of building systems and energy efficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with incentive programs
- CEM or PE certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in San Antonio, TX is $62,000 – $79,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
