The employer is a packaging manufacturer running high-speed production lines across several plants.
We are hiring a Quality Engineer to join our industrial & manufacturing engineering team in New York. You will work independently on projects that matter to our customers. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our New York location.
What you’ll do
- Develop inspection plans and control plans
- Own corrective and preventive action (CAPA) investigations
- Monitor processes with statistical process control
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Support customer and third-party audits
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong documentation habits
- Experience with ISO 9001 or a similar quality management system
- Working knowledge of SPC and measurement systems analysis
Nice to have
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with AS9100, IATF 16949 or ISO 13485
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $105,000 – $133,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
