The employer is looking for an Associate Environmental Engineer in Salt Lake City, UT. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced environmental engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is on site at our Salt Lake City location.
What you’ll do
- Plan and run site investigations and remediation projects
- Collect and interpret soil, groundwater and air samples
- Advise clients on environmental regulations
- Write compliance reports for state and federal agencies
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering
- Strong technical writing
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (or able to obtain)
- Field sampling experience
Nice to have
- PE license
- Experience with PFAS investigation or treatment
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Salt Lake City, UT is $38 – $47 per hour. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
