Our Temecula office is growing, and we need a Data Engineer who can work independently from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative data engineering group and report to the data engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Temecula office.
What you’ll do
- Optimize warehouse cost and query performance
- Build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines into the data warehouse
- Work with stakeholders to turn reporting needs into data products
- Model data in dbt so analysts and data scientists can rely on it
- Monitor data quality and fix pipeline failures quickly
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong SQL and Python skills
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse
- Experience with an orchestration tool such as Airflow or Dagster
Nice to have
- Experience with data contracts or data observability tools
- Experience with Spark or Flink
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Temecula, CA is $135,000 – $172,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
