As a Senior QA Automation Engineer with the employer, you will lead technical work and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Seattle office.
What you’ll do
- Report on quality metrics and release readiness
- Write test plans and test cases for new features
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
- Track, reproduce and triage defects with developers
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Experience building test automation with Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
- Programming ability in Python, Java or JavaScript
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Seattle, WA is $154,000 – $197,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
