The employer is looking for a Software Engineer in New York, NY. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our New York office.
What you’ll do
- Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
- Automate repetitive build, test and release steps
- Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for code quality on the team
- Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
- Comfort working with version control, code review and automated testing
Nice to have
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in New York, NY is $142,000 – $181,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
