The employer is looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer in Miami, FL. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced electrical & computer engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Miami location.
What you’ll do
- Simulate circuits and perform worst-case analysis
- Support EMC, safety and regulatory testing
- Bring up and validate prototype hardware in the lab
- Capture schematics and guide PCB layout in Altium
- Maintain bills of materials and work with component suppliers
- Design analog, digital and power circuits for new products
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong analog and digital circuit fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with lab test equipment
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics or motor drives
- Experience with UL or IEC certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Miami, FL is $73,000 – $93,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
