Our Tampa office is growing, and we need an Associate Robotics Engineer who can learn quickly and contribute from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative mechanical engineering group and report to the mechanical engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Tampa location.
What you’ll do
- Tune and validate robot performance in the lab and the field
- Develop software for robot perception, planning and control
- Write simulation and test tools
- Integrate sensors, actuators and compute hardware
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with ROS or ROS 2
- Hands-on robotics experience
- Strong C++ or Python skills
Nice to have
- Experience with SLAM or computer vision
- Graduate degree in robotics
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tampa, FL is $77,000 – $98,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
