As an Associate Controls Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Nampa, ID. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Nampa office.
What you’ll do
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Integrate robots, vision systems and safety devices
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Commissioning experience
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Ability to read electrical schematics
Nice to have
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Nampa, ID is $66,000 – $84,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
