The employer is looking for an Associate Industrial Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX. In this role you will learn quickly and contribute alongside an experienced industrial & manufacturing engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Grand Prairie location.
What you’ll do
- Design facility layouts and material flow
- Build capacity and staffing models
- Run time studies and set labor standards
- Analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Map value streams and lead kaizen events
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
- Experience with layout or simulation software
- Knowledge of lean tools
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FlexSim or Arena
- Lean Six Sigma certification
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Grand Prairie, TX is $59,000 – $76,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
