Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer with the employer, you will learn quickly and contribute and help shape how the software engineering team works. This position is based in Omaha, NE. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Omaha office.

What you’ll do

• Write clean, well-tested code and review pull requests from teammates
• Improve performance, reliability and observability across the services you own
• Design, build and maintain services and features used by thousands of customers every day
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, and write the follow-up that keeps them from recurring

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms and software design principles
• Experience with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
• Professional experience shipping production software in at least one modern language

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience building distributed systems or event-driven architectures

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for this position in Omaha, NE is $83,000 – $106,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
