As a Controls Engineer with the employer, you will work independently and help shape how the electrical & computer engineering team works. This position is based in Glendale, CA. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Glendale location.
What you’ll do
- Develop HMI and SCADA screens
- Design control panels and electrical schematics
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs for automated equipment
- Commission equipment on site and train operators
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Willingness to travel to job sites
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs
Nice to have
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 13849)
- Experience with FANUC or ABB robots
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Glendale, CA is $112,000 – $143,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
