The employer is looking for a Front-End Engineer in Los Angeles, CA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Los Angeles location.
What you’ll do
- Build responsive, accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript
- Champion accessibility and usability across the product
- Translate designs into reusable components and maintain the shared component library
- Write unit and end-to-end tests for user-facing features
- Work with back-end engineers to define clean API contracts
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
- Experience writing automated tests for front-end code
- Working knowledge of HTML semantics, CSS layout and browser developer tools
Nice to have
- Experience with WCAG 2.1 AA audits
- Familiarity with design systems and Figma
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $139,000 – $177,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
