The employer is looking for a DevOps Engineer in Spokane, WA. In this role you will work independently alongside an experienced software engineering team and take real ownership of your work. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is hybrid, with three days a week in our Spokane office.
What you’ll do
- Harden infrastructure and automate security patching
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Take part in an on-call rotation and lead incident reviews
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Strong Linux administration and scripting skills
Nice to have
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Experience with service meshes
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Spokane, WA is $129,000 – $164,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
