Our Tempe office is growing, and we need a Senior DevOps Engineer who can lead technical work from day one. You will work closely with a collaborative software engineering group and report to the software engineering manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. This role is on site at our Tempe location.
What you’ll do
- Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Set up monitoring, alerting and dashboards for production systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that let teams ship safely several times a day
- Operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, scaling and cost control
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience running containerized workloads in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider
- A track record of leading projects from scope through delivery
Nice to have
- Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD)
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Compensation and benefits
The pay range for this position in Tempe, AZ is $146,000 – $186,000 per year. Final pay depends on experience, skills and qualifications.
